How do I save money?
I will allow & assist you in doing many of the tasks normally done by a Realtor or attorney, thereby making sure you conform to all applicable laws & procedures to ensure a smooth transaction. I know the common pitfalls to avoid after 50+ years as a Realtor.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No, but there is a commitment. We decide up front what task(s) you want me to do and I’ll give you a reasonable estimate of the time required.
Will you be acting as a Realtor or attorney or both?
I’m required by both the American Bar Association and the National Association of Realtors to clearly define the role(s) I will be playing in your transaction and will do so before we proceed.
How much do you charge?
It depends. Each client may request different tasks, some easy or some difficult. After an initial consultation, I will tell you the fee. I have a $300 initial set-up fee credited to the total fee when you sign the papers. It’s not due at the consultation, only when you sign the papers for my service(s).
Can you outline the overall process?
If you decide to proceed after our initial consultation, I will prepare an agreement for the task(s), email it to you for review & signature(s). Before I begin, you need to pay $300 (nonrefundable) fee to set up the file / initial research which is credited to your total fee.
What are the different payment methods?
Credit card, check, cash, or, if available to you, the title company can include my fee at closing.
What if something unforeseen happens and I want to cancel our agreement?
You can cancel any time, but must be current with charges for work completed. You will not be charged the full fee.
Do you use digital communications like, the internet, Zoom, email, and scanning, etc.?
Yes. You need to be comfortable using digital means of communication & have equipment available.
What if I’m not confident in doing any of the tasks?
I would highly recommend any office that displays the Realtor logo to help you instead.
Can I stop by your office without an appointment for our consultation?
I prefer not. I don’t work normal business hours because I often work nights and weekends. Therefore, I may not be in the office, so I prefer appointments.
